Cllr. Mote has represented Headstone North ward since 2002. A former deputy head teacher by profession, she is a member of the Corporate Parenting Panel and the Health & Wellbeing Board.

Cllr Mote has previously served as the Mayor of Harrow (2022-23). Cllr Mote currently serves as the Cabinet Member responsible for Community & Culture. 

She is a former portfolio holder for Education and Schools, and was a Shadow Cabinet member. She serves on the Executive Committee of Harrow Heritage Trust, and is a governor at St. John Fisher Primary School.

The North Harrow junction has long been a problem for pedestrians. Harrow Labour did nothing to fix this despite running Harrow Council for nearly 12 years (2010-2022). Your Conservative Council has now secured the funding to make this junction safe.

Restoring pride in Harrow's parks

As part of Harrow Conservatives’ plans to restore pride in our borough we will be investing £6 million in local parks to help secure prestigious Green Flag accreditation for 9 parks by 2026.

At present, 6 Harrow Parks have received a Green Flag award for their exceptional quality.

Swimming Pool reopens following safety works

We are pleased to announce that the swimming pool at the Leisure Centre has now reopened.

We had to make the tough decision to close the pool back in March following a structural survey which showed that the roof above the pool had degraded severely.
