Chris Baxter has lived in Harrow all his life and was honoured to be elected for Headstone North in May 2018, alongside Cllr Janet Mote and Cllr Lesline Lewinson. He first stood as a candidate in Headstone North ward in 2014 but was unsuccessful in that election.
 
For 4 years Chris served as Chairman of Harrow West Conservative Association – working across Harrow on behalf of Local Government, London Assembly and Parliamentary candidates.
 
In spring 2019, he was appointed Chief Whip of Harrow Council Conservatives group. In his professional life Chris works as a campaign manager.

Harrow Council’s November Cabinet meeting saw yet more complaints about the Labour administration’s Street Space schemes. 7 questions from members of the public, as well as a petition, were discussed during the meeting showing the distress and anger the Council’s roadblocks have caused.
