Chris Baxter has lived in Harrow all his life and was honoured to be elected for Pinner South in May 2026. He previously represented North Harrow from 2022 to 2026, and before that he served as Headstone North's councillor from 2018 to 2022.

Since May 2026, Cllr Baxter has served as Cabinet Member responsible for Housing. In this role he oversees the council's housing stock as well as working to deliver more social rent and affordable housing. 
 
Chris has served as Chairman of Harrow West Conservative Association o two occasions – working across Harrow on behalf of Local Government, London Assembly and Parliamentary candidates.
 
In spring 2019, he was appointed Chief Whip of Harrow Council Conservatives group. He has previously served as the Cabinet Assistant for Strategy, supporting the Leader of the Council as well as being vice-chair of the Planning Committee.

Cllr. Mote has represented Headstone North ward since 2002. A former deputy head teacher by profession, she is a member of the Corporate Parenting Panel and the Health & Wellbeing Board. Cllr Mote has previously served as the Mayor of Harrow (2022-23).

Funding secured for North Harrow junction safety improvements

The North Harrow junction has long been a problem for pedestrians. Harrow Labour did nothing to fix this despite running Harrow Council for nearly 12 years (2010-2022). Your Conservative Council has now secured the funding to make this junction safe.

Stop The Press: 265 The Ridgeway Refusal Upheld

The developer, who was refused planning permission to build on 265 The Ridgway last year, has lost an appeal to overturn the Council’s refusal and force through planning permission for several tower blocks on the site.
