Elected in May 2014 for Pinner ward, Norman is married and has lived locally for over 30 years. His children all went to school in Pinner. He is very keen to work with residents to preserve Pinner as a great place to live and work in, and also to visit. He is active in the Pinner Business Club, as well as a number of local community groups.
Currently, Norman is the Cabinet Member for Adults & Public Health. In this role he oversees the council's adult social care service as well as managing the council's public health responsibilities alongside the NHS. Previously, he served as Cabinet Member for Business, Employment & Property.
When not at work or carrying out Councillor duties Norman is sometimes seen treading the boards with Pinner Players.
