IMPORTANT UPDATE: Cllr Vina Mithani sadly passed away on Thursday the 7th of October 2021 after a long illness.
Vina is survived by her husband Vipin Mithani.
Vina was a very prominent member of the Conservative Group, as well as a key figure of the Indian community in Harrow. She was dedicated to serving residents both in Kenton West, and the wider borough.
Vina worked hard to improve ties between the local Conservative Party and the Kenton community. Her connection with the community helped secure her election as one of the first Indian Conservative Councillors on Harrow Council in 2002, alongside Manji Kara and Cllr Anjana Patel.
Vina was first elected as a Conservative Councillor for Kenton West from May 2002, and served continuously until present, achieving 19 years’ loyal service to the Council. Vina has most recently been serving as Shadow Portfolio Holder for Public Health.
