Kanti has lived in Harrow for the last twenty-one years and runs his professional accountancy and tax practice from Harrow.
He has been an elected councillor since May 2014. He serves as a Non-Executive Member of Cabinet and is chair of the Governance, Audit and Risk Management (GARMS) committee.
He continues to oversee the finance team and regulatory requirements at a Faith charity and is a Trustee for an Educational Charity. In the past few years, he has got involved with local community issues ranging from education, environmental/cleaning, and saving the Gujrati Language at GCSE and `A` levels. He wants to make a difference in the local community to ensure effective delivery of services. Council finances, Governance, and efficient use of resources are of special interest.
