Making Harrow clean and tidy is a central focus for your Conservative Council.

That’s why this year we have invested an extra £1.2 million into street cleaning which has been focussed on ensuring that our town centre, district centres and high streets are cleaned more frequently and thoroughly.

This extra funding means that the number of street cleaning visits to our shopping areas has been doubled, meaning that these areas will look better for longer.

Our street cleaning increase is already making a difference with over 2 tonnes of additional rubbish and litter being collected every day.

We will soon launch a Grimebusting Team whose focus will be on using high pressure washers to clean our footpaths, street signs and public facilities like benches.

Our increase in enforcement against those who litter and fly-tip is making a difference, with record numbers of fines issued to offenders in 2023 and 2024.

Harrow Conservatives are working hard to ensure our neighbourhoods are clean and safe. We will continue to put residents first.
