Harrow's Conservative Council has successfully bid for nearly £800,000 of extra funding which will be used to improve and upgrade Harrow's libraries, employment services and the arts block at the Elliot Hall.

The funding will enhance the council's training and employment service to help the unemployed back into work. 

It will also fund the much needed refurbishment of the arts block at the Elliot Hall in the Harrow Arts Centre as well as insulating Headstone Manor.
