Investing in Harrow’s roads to ensure they are fit for the future is a central priority for Harrow’s Conservative Council.
In February’s budget, Conservative Councillors agreed a plan to double the money spent on resurfacing and repairing our highways.
Over the next 3 years £42 million will be directed into local roads. Labour has consistently voted against this extra funding as well as our previous boosts in road repair funding.
In 2024/25 Harrow's Conservative Council fixed over 5,750 potholes, showing that our increased investment in new and innovative pothole repair technologies are making a positive difference.
In Harrow Labour’s last year in control of the Council, only 730 potholes were fixed.
We know there is still much more to be done, but we are making progress.
It is only by voting for Harrow Conservatives that we can ensure good quality roads to keep traffic moving.
