Harrow Council’s Conservative leadership have implemented a scheme which targets vehicles who have multiple unpaid parking fines.

Since the scheme started in early October more than 54 vehicles have been impounded which has resulted in serial offenders collectively having to cough up over £13,000 in unpaid fines and fees.

The Council’s new scheme sees offending vehicles removed to a secure car pound where they are stored until the owners settle the outstanding fines.

Parking issues are common in many streets across Harrow. Our new towing scheme ensures that there is a clear deterrent for individuals who think the rules do not apply to them.
