Headstone Conservatives: Say no to 158 houses in Headstone Lane

A developer has published plans to build 158 new homes between Pinner Park School and Broadfields.

This land’s designation as Greenbelt was reconfirmed Harrow’s Conservative Council earlier in 2026, which means development is not appropriate and the land should be kept as green space.

Frustratingly, Sadiq Khan's London Plan has designated this land as ‘Greybelt’ which weakens it’s protected status and has given developers a chance to speculate on developing the site.

Developments of more than 150 homes can be referred to the Mayor of London, which allows Sadiq Khan to overrule the views of local residents and councillors.

We need to send a strong message to Sadiq Khan and the developers that Headstone residents want this Greenbelt land protected and preserved for future generations to enjoy.
