Harrow says NO to Labour's Police Station Front Desk closure

The results are in and local people do not support Sadiq Khan's plan to close Harrow Police Station's Front Desk.

Over 95% of Harrow residents polled, opposed Labour's decision to close Harrow Police Station's Front Desk.

The Police Station’s Front Desk is a vital community asset which allows the public to easily interact with the police face to face.

The decision to close the Front Desk has been made due to a £260 million shortfall in the Metropolitan Police’s budget. This shortfall is due to the Labour government’s cuts to police funding and the Mayor of London’s financial ineptitude.

Recent data shows that police numbers in London have fallen by over 1,000 officers, despite the Labour government's pledge to increase police numbers.

Your Conservative Councillors have put forward a motion to be debated at the September Council meeting which, if passed, will formalise Harrow Council's official position against the closure of Harrow Police Station's Front Desk.

Bob Blackman CBE, Member of Parliament for Harrow East, is currently running a petition to oppose the closure of Harrow Police Station's Front Desk.

Please sign Bob's petition and support his campaign to save Harrow Police Station's Front Desk.
