Funding secured for North Harrow junction safety improvements

The North Harrow junction has long been a problem for pedestrians. Harrow Labour did nothing to fix this despite running Harrow Council for nearly 12 years (2010-2022). Your Conservative Council has now secured the funding to make this junction safe.

We will be consulting with residents and local businesses over the coming months on how we can improve the junction to have pedestrian crossings, making it easier for people to get to and from the station and shops.

We also wanted to improve the junction near Nower Hill School but unfortunately the Labour Mayor of London has rejected our funding request for this much needed safety improvement.

Chris Baxter has lived in Harrow all his life and was honoured to be elected for Headstone North in May 2018, alongside Cllr Janet Mote and Cllr Lesline Lewinson. He first stood as a candidate in Headstone North ward in 2014 but was unsuccessful in that election.
