Our new ‘Drop & Go’ localised recycling events continue to be very popular with Harrow residents.

These events are held at local shops and car parks, bringing the recycling centre services out and into the community.

The third ‘Drop & Go’ event took place in the Alexandra Park car park in Roxeth on Saturday 19th July.

Despite the wet weather, this event was attended by many local residents who dropped off over 4 tonnes of waste and recycling.

The means that collectively our ‘Drop & Go’ events have collected over 16 tonnes of rubbish.

The Conservative-run Council wants to make it easier for local people to dispose of waste responsibly and deter fly-tipping.

The first ‘Drop & Go’ event took place in North Harrow and the second event was in Belmont.
