Despite a very challenging night for the Conservatives in most of the UK, Harrow Conservatives have once again bucked the national trend.

Bob Blackman MP was re-elected in Harrow East with an increased majority. Bob is now the safest Conservative seat in percentage terms in the whole country. Well done Bob!

David Simmonds MP was re-elected with a reduced, but still healthy, majority in Ruislip, Northwood & Pinner. Congratulations David.

Abbas Merali was unable to unseat long term incumbent Labour MP Gareth Thomas, but Abbas did manage to slash Gareth’s majority by over 2,000 votes.

We thank local residents for putting their faith in Harrow Conservatives once again. When out campaigning, time and time again residents told us how they appreciated Harrow Conservatives’ focus on putting residents first in everything that we do.

Conservative Councillors will continue to work hand in hand with our local Conservative MPs to achieve positive change for Harrow people.
