Harrow’s Conservative Council has rolled out Union Jack banners at dozens of locations across the borough to celebrate Harrow’s 60th anniversary.
60 years ago, Harrow was officially created as a London Borough, as the result of an amalgamation of several smaller districts.
At key locations in Harrow Town Centre as well as by some Tube stations and in high streets and shopping precincts across the borough we have installed banners on lampposts to promote this anniversary.
As well as celebrating our anniversary as a London Borough, these banners also display our country’s flag to show Harrow’s patriotism and respect for our heritage.
