Since Conservative Councillors introduced the free bulky waste collection service at Harrow Council, over 18,600 free collections have been used by local people.

Implementing a free bulky waste collection service was a key pledge promised by Harrow Conservatives in the May 2022 election. We delivered on this promise less than a year after winning control of the Council.

Every Harrow household can request one free bulky waste collection per year (of up to 4 items). Harrow is one of only a handful of London councils to offer a free service.
