9.5 million hours of free parking

New data shows that from August 2022 to December 2025 over 9.5 million 1 hour free parking sessions have been used by Harrow residents.

1 hour free parking was a flagship policy for the new Conservative administration when we came to power after the 2022 Harrow Council elections.

We argued for a number of years while in opposition for it to be implemented, but Labour kept voting against it. Once we took control of the Council we implemented 1 hour free parking within months.

1 hour free parking makes it easier and more affordable for residents to support local businesses and high streets, boosting Harrow’s economy.

But 1 hour free parking is at risk.

Harrow’s Labour councillors have voted against our policy 6 times in the last few years. If Labour gain control of the Council in May, 1 hour free parking will be scrapped.

Only a vote for Harrow Conservatives will guarantee 1 hour free parking continues.
