Performance data from Harrow Council’s highways department shows that between January 2024 and December 2025 we have fixed over 10,000 potholes.
Getting Harrow’s roads to a good standard is a central focus for the Council’s Conservative leadership.
When we came to power in May 2022, the Council lacked a long term plan to repair Harrow's roads and the highways department was in chaos following the scandalous £2 million highways fraud which had occurred in 2021 when Labour ran the Council.
Since then, Conservative councillors have rebuilt the service and invested over £42 million into road and pavement repairs for the next three years.
While there has been good progress in clearing Labour’s huge pothole backlog, we know there is still much more to be done.
