As part of our mission to ensure that Harrow is fit for the future, your Conservative Council will be installing 100 new electric vehicle charging points across the borough.
These charging points will be put in residential streets and are aimed at helping people who do not have access to off road parking.
The charging points have been specially designed so that they are not visible when not in use.
Cllr David Ashton, Cabinet Member responsible for Finance & Highways, said:
"This will be welcoming news for residents. Not everyone has a driveway, so this is significant infrastructure that will help those charge their car near their home. It’s great for the environment, great for sustainable travel and doesn’t clutter the streets.
This is one of many ways we are putting residents first, by making it easier for those thinking about switching to electric or hybrid."
